On an inclined plane the winning move is to rotate the axes along the surface: this way the constraint reaction and the acceleration each have only one component and the working simplifies. From here we cover the smooth plane, the plane with a spring, and the two-mass system connected by a pulley at the top.

Block on an inclined plane with friction (and a spring): adjust the angle and the friction coefficient. See when it stays still, when it slides, how it oscillates; arrows for weight, friction and spring.
