Problem

A skater has I1=10  kgm2I_1 = 10\;\mathrm{kg\,m^2}. By pulling in their arms they reach I2=6  kgm2I_2 = 6\;\mathrm{kg\,m^2} and ω2=5  rad/s\omega_2 = 5\;\mathrm{rad/s}. Calculate ω1\omega_1 (use conservation of LL) and comment on the change in kinetic energy.
