Problem

An ideal solenoid carries a sinusoidal current i(t)=I0sin(ωt)i(t) = I_0 \sin(\omega t) imposed by the generator. On the same plane (abscissa tt, ordinates normalised to their respective peaks) draw: (a) the field B(t)B(t) in the solenoid, (b) the self-induced EMF EL(t)=Lddti\mathcal{E}_L(t) = -L\,\ddt{i}, (c) the self-linked flux ΦB(t)\Phi_B(t). Indicate the phase shifts relative to i(t)i(t).
